Antifascisti e antisionisti sempre: No alla Coppa Uefa Under 21 in Israele

Il Coordinamento antifascista cagliaritano, nel giorno in
cui si inaugura la fase finale degli Europei di calcio Under 21,
sostiene la campagna internazionale di boicottaggio “Cartellino rosso
contro l’apartheid” e aderisce e partecipa al sit in di protesta,
promosso dal Cagliari Social Forum in collaborazione con
l’Associazione Amicizia Sardegna Palestina, che si terrà a Cagliari
alle ore 17.30 in Piazza Costituzione. Vogliamo denunciare
l’atteggiamento colpevole della Uefa, che ignorando le proteste che si
sono alzate da tutte le parti del mondo, ha deciso di far giocare gli
Europei in Israele contraddicendo tutti i valori dello sport e
asservendo gli eventi sportivi, a fini altri. Infatti, Israele
attraverso lo sport, così come fa con la cultura, costruisce e
propaganda la sua immagine di paese democratico e legittima se stesso
mentre continua ad occupare illegalmente i territori palestinesi
negando quotidianamente a questo popolo libertà e diritti. Contro un
calcio macchiato dal sangue palestinese che impedisce alle e ai
palestinesi di fare sport come chiunque altro, per la fine
dell’occupazione e dell’apartheid, per il diritto al ritorno dei
profughi palestinesi, per uno Stato unico in Palestina dove arabi ed
ebrei possano vivere uguali e liberi sotto la stessa legislazione,
diciamo No alla Coppa UEFA Under 21 in Israele e promuoviamo una
pratica diffusa di boicotaggio.
